Waiver & Release

The waiver,and the record.

Why there is one

Club events involve driving on public roads, and gatherings where expensive cars are parked close together. Every member accepts the club's waiver and release before their first event. It is the same document for everyone, and for a couples membership each member accepts it individually.

The text itself

The operative wording is the club's own legal document, drawn up for the club and unchanged by this site. It is presented in full when you apply and sent with your welcome email.

If you would like to read it before applying, ask the club and a copy will be sent to you.

How your acceptance is recorded

Three things are kept, and all three matter: the full name you type as your signature, the exact date and time you accepted, and the version of the waiver that was on screen when you did — currently 2026-08-v1.

A tick in a box records none of those. Keeping the name, the timestamp and the version is the difference between a record and an assumption, and it means an updated waiver can never be confused with the one you actually agreed to.

Applying

The waiver is part of the membership application. You will be asked to accept it and to type your name there.
